Why Remote Socializing is Important

A top priority of management should be to provide team-building activities - games for remote workers that build human connection and trust. These activities take only a few minutes, which would help to ensure that all employees feel included and motivated company-wide.

Plus, team building allows employees to impact the company culture. By being involved, remote workers feel they are part of a larger team, they connect better with the company mission and can grasp the bigger picture.

When employees are engaged, morale is higher, they work harder, and they are more productive. These characteristics then help to increase the bottom line. That's why socializing through happy hours (virtual or face-to-face, with or without alcohol), fun virtual games, and any other appropriate team-building activity is important.
