PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:

  • Training Manager for Livelink intranet deployment for the Materiel Systems Group (MSG) at WPAFB. Currently manage training and provide change management and implementation support for 1500 MSG personnel. Also provide above support to HQ Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), Aeronautical Systems Center (ASC), Electronic Systems Center (ESC), and HQ Air Force personnel. Determine training strategy and requirements, evaluate intranet vendors and products, manage training contractor activity, develop Service Level Agreements (SLAs), develop training plans, design and develop training guides, evaluate computer-based and web-based training products, conduct executive level, end-user and train-the-trainer programs, determine training sustainment operations, and market intranet deployment throughout the Air Force.
  • Training Manager for Pentagon programs and systems using web-based training and classroom instruction. Determined training requirements, wrote training Statements of Work (SOWs), evaluated training deliverables, developed training plans, managed the design and development of a computer-based training program.
  • Team lead for the Air Force Working Capital Fund (AFWCF) re-engineering project affecting multi-billion dollar inventories, billing and government funding. Designed and developed computer-based, stand-up and video training for over 1500 AFWCF personnel. Modules were used nationally, placed on the Internet, and called the “best training ever seen” by a Pentagon official. Managed the design and development of a web site. Conducted reviews of deliverables. Managed and performed technical analysis and process modeling.
  • Led an Independent Validation and Verification (Quality Assurance) program for the Air Force. Conducted technical and schedule analyses, software audits, systems testing, and performance evaluation.
  • Managed the CALS Shared Resource Centers, a national network of training centers for the Air Force. Developed a strategic plan, directed operations, implemented policies and procedures, served as advisor to trainers and assessed educational products. Evaluated proposals and designed and developed training for the proposal evaluation team.
  • Created and taught the “Digital Product Data Acquisition” course at the Air Force Institute of Technology. Introduced state-of-the-art standards and protocols in data transfer technology, e.g., SGML.
  • Developed and analyzed data models used to construct relational database applications; wrote the Data Administration Policies and Procedures Manual and conducted business development research for the Air Force.
  • Designed and presented training programs for 10NET LAN hardware and software. Wrote a business plan for 10NET LAN product training that was presented to and approved by the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Developed a user’s manual for DEFINE.IT, a CASE tool that structures and transforms data models into relational database; methodology integrated with Oracle.
  • Designed and developed training for mainframe applications; taught to Texas A&M University students and faculty.
  • Created financial models for the Production-Based Analysis Report using Lotus.
  • Managed a computer-based training center for Control Data Corporation. Developed computer-based training programs, served as technical consultant for customers, and assisted with marketing. Wrote a feasibility study to acquire new business.
